Marise Cardoso is Djiiva, a Brazilian DJ who emigrated to Barcelona, Spain, in 2000. Since then, she has performed at festivals and clubs across more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. An experienced sonic artivist, she is dedicated to integrating music and well-being. A yoga and meditation teacher, as well as a sound healer trained in India, she created the project “Ser Super Sónico”. With her hypnotic soundscapes, she leaves an indelible impression on the stages she graces — in cities such as Berlin, Shanghai, Dubai, São Paulo, Bogotá, Lisbon, Ibiza, and Goa, among many others. Using sound and movement as pathways for human transformation, Djiiva offers programmes that go beyond mere entertainment, aiming to foster deep personal development through technologies of feeling that are accessible to all. Her M.O.V.E sessions, inspired by contemporary somatic practices such as ecstatic dance, trance dance, and movement meditation, are designed to activate the body and open the mind on dance floors around the world. Through tools that sharpen perception — and, in doing so, inspire, revitalise, and prepare participants — Djiiva invites everyone to embrace life’s adventures with renewed energy.
