A regular presence at British festivals such as Glastonbury and Wilderness, DJ Cal Jader has performed on stages around the world and is one of the driving forces behind MOVIMIENTOS — a London-based cultural collective, record label, and event promoter. For nearly 20 years, he has been producing shows and parties across the UK. He was also the curator and DJ of the acclaimed “Love Carnival,” focused on tropical music and global bass. With a distinctive style — Latin beats, vibrant carnival rhythms, tropical funk, and fresh global sounds — Cal has been an active contributor to shaping London’s music scene. He performs regularly in the British capital, across Europe, and at Brazil’s carnival. At MIMO, he will take part in a special B2B set with Mexican DJ Ritmos Cholulteka, also known as Bruno Salgado Zayas — a photographer and pioneer of cumbia and contemporary Latin American sounds in Portugal. Together, they explore different sound system cultures, blending innovative Latin grooves with a British bass perspective, delivering dynamic sets always aimed at igniting the dance floor. Their collaboration promises to be one of the most electrifying moments of the season.
