With over 20 years of history and a loyal audience that already exceeds two million spectators in Brazil and Portugal, the MIMO Festival enthusiastically returns to the enchanting city of Amarante for its 6th edition, where culture and music once again take centre stage — always with free admission to the entire festival experience.

In 2024, MIMO Amarante welcomed 70,000 people, confirming the public’s affection and the strength of the event within the cultural landscape. This year, the programme has been carefully designed for the city’s residents and visitors — curious, warm and engaged — and enjoys the essential support of the Municipality, the event’s main promoter.

True to its cosmopolitan spirit, MIMO 2025 presents an even more global, inclusive, bold and diverse edition, with proposals that transcend borders and styles. Between renowned headliners and emerging talents, the festival offers a dynamic portrait of the most relevant and innovative developments in contemporary music, both in Portugal and around the world.

This year’s edition brings together over 60 activities across three days. With a truly transcultural program — featuring concerts and DJ sets by artists from thirteen countries, including Portugal, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain, Palestine, Senegal, the United States, Venezuela, Argentina, France, Gambia, and Cuba — the festival also offers talks, workshops, masterclasses, parades, MIMO Well-Being sessions, MIMO for Children, and cultural tours. These experiences unfold not only on stage, but also throughout streets, parks, churches, river beaches, and hidden corners of the city — creating a truly immersive and community-driven journey.
