DuOud is formed by Tunisian Jean-Pierre Smadja, renowned jazz musician, and Algerian Mehdi Haddab, a master of electric oud. Together they blend their musical heritage with the most diverse contemporary styles, such as break beats, jazz grooves, rock, and metal guitar. In the workshop, they will teach the techniques and processes used by the duo to maintain this balance in the construction of an innovative and contagious sound.
