SOUND SYSTEM UK: ESSENCE, RESISTANCE AND CREATIVE POWER ^England

Mikey Dread (Channel One) and MC Ras Kayleb compose the Channel One Sound System. In this workshop the duo will address the Sound System culture. Many people know what a sound system is, and that it was created in Jamaica. However, most people are unaware of its true history, and especially how its creation impacted Jamaica’s culture and came to prominence worldwide.
