POETRY RAIN

The Poetry Rain (Women poets around the world) in MIMO 2017 will have Brazilian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, North American, Greek and Indian poetesses;

MIMO will launch through the skies 28,000 poems, spread over each of the cities hosting the Poetry Rain (Amarante, in Portugal , Paraty,  Rio de Janeiro and Olinda in Brazil)

CULTURAL TOUR – AMARANTE GUIDED TOUR

The MIMO Festival offers a pleasant rout led through the streets of the charming city of Amarante, considered  one of the most beautiful in the country. The peaceful and cool Tâmega River to the magnificent São Gonçalo’s church, the walk will tour the verdant natural landscapes and its impressive historical sites, revealing the memory, culture and heritage of the city. This activity is free.
