But, if we listen carefully and pay more attention, the real story is in fact different.  Since the 1950’s until now, the director Francisca Marvão, through living witnesses, opens the gates of history and from it images and sounds came out as never heard before in the canons of Portuguese music. Girls are out there….rocking like there is no tomorrow! “She is a song” is a discovery voyage through the world of rock, in Portugal, by its most iconic unknown characters: women.
