In partnership with the Millennium BCP Foundation, the MIMO Festival has included in its program, since 2018, exhibitions that promote greater public contact with art, honoring artists and national works. Curated by Prof. Raquel Henriques da Silva, the exhibitions have extremely important paintings and sculptures for the artistic movements that have appeared over the years and occupy the rooms of the Amadeo de Souza Cardoso Museum, which is installed in an old Dominican convent, attached to the Church of São Gonçalo de Amarante, whose construction began in the 16th century and brings together in its silhouette several trends in Portuguese architecture from the last centuries.
