EMICIDA, RAEL E CAPICUA APRESENTAM LÍNGUA FRANCA Brazil / Portugal
With an unprecedented repertoire, the project “Língua franca” celebrates the Portuguese language through the coming together of two well-known Brazilian rappers and two equally talented Portuguese rappers. For 10 days, Rael, Emicida, Capicua and Valete are locked in a studio in Portugal to finish and record the 10 songs on the album, which is produced by Kassin, Fred Ferreira and Nave, and where they bring together their various accents, rhymes and rhythms. The single “Ela” [She] has already reached 1.5 million views and the trans-Atlantic project has been nominated for a Latin Grammy in the category of “best urban song” for “A chapa é quente!”. Performed at the SuperBock SuperRock festival in Lisbon, the Luso-Brazilian hip hop concert will be performed for the first time in Brazil on the MIMO Festival stage, with Portuguese singer and MC Capicua, the two musicians from São Paulo, drummer Felipe da Costa and DJ Nyack.
